Petrolheadonism Live (24th & 25th September 2022)
Petrolheadonism.live at Knebworth House. This is Hertfordshire’s BIGGEST car show. Amazing 2 days of hypercars, showcars, motorcyles, celebrities and so much more. British Motor Show (18-21 August)
The British Motor Show takes place at the Farnborough International Expo Centre and has something for all the family. Showcasing a wide range of cars to suit different budgets and requirements, you will be able to take a look at the latest offerings from all major manufacturers. There is also a live stage and arena, where interviews will be held with famous faces from the world of motorsport and stunt shows and supercar parades will take place. With every type of vehicle on display and in action, you can expect fast-paced entertainment and excitement throughout the weekend.
Silverstone Classic (26-28 August)
The Silverstone Classic showcases cars from throughout previous decades, including those from Formula 1, sports cars, and touring cars. There is a line-up of 20 races throughout the 3-day festival, so you will get to take in plenty of action on the track as the weekend progresses. The showpiece of the event is a world exclusive, displaying all 7 of Lewis Hamilton’s championship-winning cars, as well as a selection of Formula 1 cars past and present for you to get up close to. The festival even offers live music at the end of each day and, with all sorts of off-track entertainment to take in, this is a great way to spend your bank-holiday weekend.
Goodwood Revival (16-18 September)
The self-proclaimed ‘world’s greatest historic motor race meeting’, Goodwood Revival offers a unique classic car event unlike anything you may have experienced before. The event is set entirely in a period theme, meaning you will feel as though you have stepped back in time. As well as racing taking place throughout the weekend, there is also a classic car show where you can browse immaculate vehicles dating back through previous decades. The ‘Revive and Thrive Village’ is packed with workshops, exhibitions, and talks to complete the experience, adding to this period theme. Each element adds up to make this a memorable experience for classic car enthusiasts.
Santa Pod Raceway (Various dates)
The home of drag racing in the UK, Santa Pod is the perfect place for those looking for their fix of straightline speed. They have a variety of events running throughout the summer, including the opportunity to bring your own car to test out its performance in a controlled environment. Other events include a German manufacturer only car show and Ultimate Street Car Show, so there is something for everyone. Alongside these events are live music and a show paddock for you to explore, so there will be no shortage of entertainment.
